This 90 second video is about a classic family dinner time
up the table. At the start of the video a grandmother and her son are shown are
shown doing the stereotypical thing by arguing about something so irrelevant. The
camera then pans to the left showing a couple playing a normal family game
about guessing and describing. The camera continues to pan and stops panning when
it lands on a brother and sister, with the younger brother asks a question
about homosexuality the girl replies “it’s when you like boys”. The camera
begins to pan again to the left. The camera then shows a woman and her father. The
woman is showing her father how to print something an iPad. The camera then
pans again and shows the grandmother makes a point that the son doesn’t agree
with and finds it so irrelevant the he spits his drink out of his mouth. The camera
then pans again to the left and shows the couple playing the game again. The camera
then pans to the left again and show the boy asking his sister if he is gay
because he is friends with a boy. The sister replies by asking their mother if
she can tell her brother that he’s not gay. The camera then pans to the left
again and the mother then says “it’s more than just liking someone, it’s more
like kissing”. The boy then says that his sister must be gay because he saw her
kissing. The camera then stops panning to the left and then pans to the right. The
camera then stops panning and shows the brother and sister. The boy then says
that when their parents were out he saw her kissing a boy called Rodger. This then
makes the conversation completely focused on Rodger and the sister. The camera
then pans to the left and shows the whole family talking about this. The clip
then ends with the sister slapping her brother over the heads. There is only
motivated lighting and close-ups used in this clip. The family are dressed in
casual clothes that are stereotypical to their age.
